Description: |
The hollow handle holds a spring which acts through an internal chain and link to a toothed eccentric jaw. The spring acts to close the jaw. The jaw has a finger loop to pull it open. The proportions of the wrench are such that the smallest size would fit one-quarter through one inch pipe, the next size one inch through two inches and a half, and so on.
Corresponding British patent GB-186401747 was registered July 13, 1864. |
