Stan Schulz MONTE wrench (FLICKR)
|
Description: |
The adjustable jaw is connected to the fixed jaw and handle by two parallel rods. The rod adjacent to the wrench opening is threaded. The adjusting knob is contained within the handle. The handle and adjusting knob are made of malleable iron. The wrench was made in several sizes, with the markings of several farm implement manufacturers, and either as an open loop handle, or with wood handle inserts.
The second photo shows several of these variants. |
