Description: |
This patent is not for a marking gage, but rather for a method
of tightening gage heads that could be used on a marking gage
or similar tool.
The idea here is fairly simple-- a bent level rides in a tight
slot such that it forces the side of the slot into the gage arm.
These would be cheap to produce, and probably would work well.
