Description: |
Low cost, mason type, level constructed with three pieces of wood having a hard wood edges and a softer wood center. The body is held together by the doweling action of the level tube inserts and the end plates. Known marked example by Peerless has a label "...Mechanics should test this level before buying or removing it from a store, as we cannont guarantee a level after it has been used and Dealer must not replace a used Level but should refer owner to Manufacturer for repairs or adjustment." Also marked with Powell's patent, 1,286,767. |
