"The invention relates to lathes and to duplicating devices for use on lathes. An object of the invention is to provide for use on a wood-turning lathe an adjustable de-mountable duplicating device of a simple and durable construction by means of which turned pieces can be rapidly and accurately reproduced, the device preventing chattering and permitting unobstructed use of an open-front steady rest through which a tool on the device may be passed." |
