Description:
The sliding adjustable jaw rides on a bar with rack teeth, and the back slides on a stabilizing rib in the main wrench frame.

Cooper and Cutler's Oct. 8, 1872 patent (No. 132,057) notes this wrench. A Sept. 1872 notice in ENGINEERING (London) describes several sizes including one for bicyclists produced by W.J. Schlesinger & Co., London.
