Description:
The 1851-06-04 Boston Medical and Surgical Journal carried the following note.

"Cod-liver oil.—A sample of cod-liver oil has been received from Mr. Robert G. Frazer, a respectable chemist of Halifax, N. S., which presents every evidence of purity. Wholesale dealers in the article will find it to their advantage, before purchasing elsewhere, to confer with Mr. Frazer, who is prepared to supply any quantity that may be desired."
