Vintage Machinery entry for J. P. Grosvenor.
Description:
An early tilting-arbor tablesaw design. The design is an improvement on Grosvenor's patent 77,606 and patent 82,113; the difference in this new design is the blade elevation mechanism. The saw arbor is suspended independently on the two ends, and so the blade can be tilted in either direction; the blade must be moved from one end of the arbor to the other when tilting in the opposite direction.
