Description:
Theodore Neys (1836-1894) was born in Luxembourg and died in Menomonie, Dunn County. Confusingly, Monomonee and Menomonie are different places in Wisconsin, in Waukesha and Dunn Counties, respectively. Neys was from the Dunn County town which is now spelled Menomonie, although the patent specification gives the other spelling. Ney's wife and 16 year old daughter, both named Louise, died in 1886. A son, Theodore, died as an infant in 1881.
