Description:
The patent is for a carriage-axle nut which would be locked against accidental rotation by a spring-loaded annular stud within the end of the axle. A matching socket wrench with a corresponding round lug in the base of the socket to install or remove this axle nut is shown in the drawing and described in the specifications.
