Description:
The patent is for an inexpensive wrench that will hold axle nuts without dropping them on the ground. An option is shown where the wide flange surrounding the socket contains additional nut engaging portions. Wrenches conforming to this patent were produced bearing the names of several buggy and wagon manufacturing companies along with many "generic" versions. This production probably predated the patent.
