Description:
This gage takes a very different approach to butt marking than most other designs. It allows the depth and width of the gage to be adjusted to match that of the hinge, allowing the gage to be traced with a marking knife to mark the mortise.

A marking point on the bottom of the gage can be adjusted to mark the mortise depth.
