Description:
Removeable socket or tang with a groove on its underside that can be secured firmly and rigidly to the saw as well as being able to easily and quickly detached by use of a slotted bolt and thumb nut. This design helped to address the problem where when sawing a log the kerf is closed and the only way to release the saw is to lift the log or remove the handle and pull the saw out.
