CLIMAX Pliers (from 1905 trade journal) - FLICKR
Description:
The secondary cutting jaw is mounted on a common pivot with the main handles and plier jaws, and activated by a pin fitting in a concentric slot. The patent also claims the combination of straight and convex faced pliers jaws.

Marketed as the CLIMAX pliers. The secondary cutting jaw was made from a different steel alloy than the rest of the pliers. The combination of straight and convex jaws was a feature of the Kraeuter VICTOR pliers.

Kraeuter also produced C. S. Bonney's adjustable alligator wrench as the VICTOR (pat. no. 728,842).
