Description:
Robertson references his earlier patent (352070) concerning a "horseshoe" shaped magnetic nail/tack holding hammer. This patent has a second magnetic portion, the combination allowing for setting and driving tacks into both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Longer handled hammers of this type are sometimes characterized as "bill-posters' hammers."
