Description:
This patent covers the swinging and rotating table, which was a significant advance in post-drill design, and was copied by numerous other manufacturers. The assignee, Veeder Colegrove, is a bit of a mystery. All we can find of him is that he was born in 1823 in Adrian, Michigan and died in 1889 in Greenwich, Connecticut. The findagrave.com website gives his name as "Veeder 'Peter' Colegrove".
