Description:
Combination tool with multiple functions incorporated in a scissors with a separable pivot joint. The tool also was the subject of German "Gebrauchsmuster" Nr. DG-61060. Another variant description appears in British patent (GB-189912106}.

The features noted in the specifications include cigar cutter, cigar-box opener, pliers, wrench, wire cutter, button-hole scissors with adjustable stop, screwdriver, nail-file, cartridge extractor, tack lifter, marking wheel, glass cutter, glass breaker, etc. The rule on one straight edge is shown but not explicitly mentioned.

Henry Newman was President of the Universal Scissors, Tool & Novelty Co. of New York. They advertised this as "HAVA SIZORS" in 1900. A few years later, the scissors was advertised by Wm.C. Hocking & Co. of Chicago as "18 Tools in 1."

Klever had other ideas for scissors / combination tools (e.g. pat. no. 858,003.)
