Description:
The major feature of the patent is the tabs folded into the center of the lever handle which limit the opening travel of the quick-release for toggle locking tools in patent no. 5,056,070. The patent also describes resilient cover materials for the fixed and lever handles of such tools. Used in the Vise-Grip (tm) Fast-Release (tm) toggle locking tools. In 2015, the patents also appear on CRAFTSMAN (tm) branded locking pliers.
