The patent is cited in conjunction with Crocker's Sept. 21, 1869 patent 95,091 in 1870s ads for Crocker's Ticket Punch. Crocker secured additional patents July 18, 1882 (no. 261,138) and Aug. 4, 1891 (no. 456,983).
