Grace's Guide page on Brooks & Doxey
Description:
The assignees were the principals of textile machinery maker Brooks and Doxey. We have not found any evidence that they made gear-making machinery. We did learn that they were an early adopter of milling machines, running 160 of them by the mid-1890s.
