Description:
Most of the patents prior to 1836 were lost in the Dec. 1836 fire. Only about 2000 of the almost 10000 documents were recovered, but this patent is one of them.

This invention was also patented in England on 23 May, 1829.

Mr. Williams was living in Strand, Middlesex England at the time.
