Description:
The inventor, Adelbert G. Lawrence (1837-1911), was also granted a band sawmill patent, 619,490. We have not been able to determine if his band sawmill was ever manufactured. This railroad-switch patent improves on the inventor's earlier patents 402,252 and 550,926.
