Description:
Auger bit body to be supplied with up to twenty interchangeable tips held in place by a threaded lead screw and a spring catch in the body of the bit. Another claim has to do with a pair of cutting lips and spurs, on the interchangeable tips, at different levels and on different circumferences. The bit is also to be supplied with a depth stop (illustration 2).
