"My improvement relates to a construction which will permit the ready removal of the working cylinder or cylinders of a planer, to mechanism for effecting a vertical adjustment of the working cylinders, to mechanism for effecting a vertical adjustment of the idle feed-rollers located at the side of the passage for the lumber at which the working cylinders are located, to an endless-feed mechanism located at the path of the lumber opposite the working cylinders, to mechanism for varying the distance between said feed mechanism and the working cylinders, to the peculiar construction of one of the working cylinders..."
