Description:
Improvements to patent 408,259.

The December 1895 "Machinery" magazine carried an ad from States Machine Co. that featured their "Combination Universal Boring and Universal Milling Machine". The illustration is a close match to the machine shown in the patent. Co-assignee Abraham Vanderbeek established the States Machine Co. in 1890.
