Description:
Hose band pliers designed to work with wire hose bands of the style shown in the drawings. The pliers grip the wires, tighten them, and bend the ends over to secure them.

The joint connecting the halves was improved by patent no. 511,732. A known hose clamp pliers matching that design is marked "PATd SEPT - 16 - 1890."
