Description:
The axle nut wrench has gripping arms closed by a slide and wing nut, and driven by a crank similar to a brace wrench. It will hold the axle nut while the lifter and wheel holder are in use.

The specifications are written as though Mr. Robertson was the sole applicant. Mr. Ruud and Mr. Neilson are only named on the cover sheet; they are named as assignees in the U.S. patent noted below.

U.S. patent 500,950 (July 4, 1893) is parallel for the same design, with more detailed drawings.
