Description:
The handle is formed of two sections, one of which contains the socket in which the base of the adjusting screw rests. The handle sections are held together by two sets of "mortise & tenon." This patent was improved by the Ryans' 1892 patent (no. 476,079), and the resulting wrench is marked BARNES TOOL CO. // PAT 1886 IMPR 1892.
