Description: |
| The corkscrew is formed of stiff wire, doubled back on itself and twisted to form the handle and shank portion. One end of the wire is shaped to form the corkscrew, and the other end wrapped to form a collar or bead. In use, the corkscrew can be screwed in until the top of the cork beds against the bead, at which point twisting force also turns the cork, releasing side friction and enabling removal. |
