E. W. Ross also manufactured a bandsaw. In relation to this straw-cutter patent, see also patent 13,385.

In the 1890s there was an agricultural equipment maker in Springfield, OH, called E. W. Ross & Co. The existence of this patent shows that the Fulton-based E. W. Ross did have some interest in agricultural equipment. We have no direct evidence on whether the Fulton, NY and Springfield, OH incarnations of "E. W. Ross & Co." are related.
