Description:
"The invention is directed particularly to the problem of easy shifting of the belt drive so as to change the speed ratio between the driving and the driven pulley. To this end, it provides a motor that is swingingly mounted on the frame of the press in such a manner that gravity, i.e., the weight of the motor, keeps the belt taut, and which may be moved to a position to release the belt by simply grasping a lever and pulling toward the operator."
