Description:
"Turn handle to adjust" double screw nut wrench with auxiliary locking ring; the patent appears to represent an intermediate stage in development of Bornstein's patent between the versions in 338,707 (CA-24,298}) and 434,912. It may be the same version which received Canadian patent CA-34,466 on June 3, 1890.

Note: British patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January. The patent # used in DATAMP represents the year of registration and the patent # (with "leading zeros" interposed to make the number total nine digits). This patent is #2,927 of the year 1888.
