Description:
Note: Early English patents (pre 1916) were numbered by the year and started at patent #1 at the start of each year in January. The patent # used in DATAMP represents the year of issue and the patent #. This patent is #14,429 of the year 1886.

According to this invention the circular Saw is fixed by countersunk rivets to a disc fastened to the spindle so as to give to the saw a surface free from projections on the work side, thus enabling the saw to cut off runners, &c., on castings quite flush with the casting.
