| Application was renewed January 6, 1928. One of these appeared in a Martin J Donnelly auction. From Martin's description: example has a black-finished handle nearly identical to handles produced at this time by the H. Cheney Company of Little Falls, New York, suggesting that this may have been produced on behalf of Ayvad by that company.
In April 2014 two examples were found in the long dormant workshop of Frank Bostner. Frank was the Superintendent and long-time employee of the Henry Cheney Hammer Company. |
