Description:
Improvements to Canada patent CA-107,537. See also U.S. patent 1,162,871.

From the July 1919 "Southern Engineer". "When using a hand beading tool difficulty has been experienced by the bulging of the flue which is apt to make an air pocket... The Wallace Mfg. Co., Westport Station, Kansas City, Mo., has placed on the market an automatic beader, which, it is claimed, obviates the difficulty mentioned. With the construction of this tool, it is claimed that the beader must come against the flue in exactly the right position every stroke. A perfect bead and a perfect expansion can only be obtained by simultaneous operation. With the Wallace Beader, the blow that beads the flue expands it in the sheet, making it always uniformly perfect."
