| Roller jaw pipe wrench which on first glimpse appears identical to the CRAFT wrench based on patent no. 870,781.
But there are subtle differences in the frame, connection of the movable jaw frame and compression spring, and details of the fixed jaw. Known examples of the Pittsburgh Malleable Iron Co. roller jaw pipe wrench have the CRAFT trade mark along with the 1907 patent date, and the full side pieces supporting the roller as shown in this patent. |
