Description:
"This invention relates to the class of machines which are used for the purpose of cutting the locks in wooden hoops, and which has been heretofore commonly done by hand, owing to the imperfect operation of the machines which have been constructed for the purpose; and it consists in the construction and arrangement of the revolving cutters; also, in the devices for holding the hoop to be cut so that it may be applied to the different cutters for cutting the lock and chamfering the hoop without its being unclamped."
