Description:
"Chain and hook" type valve spring compressor with "jaw" opening adjustable by spring-loaded tapered "jaw" segments which can be extended or retracted from a hollow handle.

The body of the handle has a series of holes for alternative locations to connect the chain.

Advertised by Moody-Blackman as the Universal Valve Lifter in 1916.
