Description:
The body of the ratchet wrench is made of two castings; the pawl has a screw knob extending outside the body of the handle which can be used to disengage the pawl or screw it down so that the pawl won't retract. The specifications discuss this used as a tap wrench.

A ratchet wrench ascribed to this patent sold on an online auction in 2001.
