A machinist's vise with shape-conforming jaws based on this patent was advertised by Mantle & Co. (New York) in 1923. It appears MANTLE & Co. sold production of the vise including patterns and production equipment in 1928. A YouTube video showing restoration of a MANTLE vise is instructive. |
