Description:
According to an article by Joshua A. Clark in the December 2011 issue of CRAFTS "Tool Shed", this saw was manufactured by Harvey Peace, who operated the Vulcan Saw Works in Brooklyn. Between about 1875 and 1880, Peace had a partner, John Hogan; after they parted ways the Vulcan Saw Works were run by the Harvey W. Peace Co.
