Description:
This is a simple marking gage and trammel designed to assist in decorating china. It was produced as the "Hasburg's New Keramic Gauge" by The John W. Hasburg Company, a well-known supplier of ceramic paints and supplies at the time.

A later version of this tool slightly changed the way the marking point was locked in-- the locking nut moved from the end of the arm to the side. This version was marketed as "Hasburg's New 1922 Keramic Gauge", but was otherwise unchanged.
