"My invention relates to ... the tool supporting and controlling mechanism. One of its objects is to provide a plurality of interchangeable and independent tools...each controlled by independent longitudinal or cross-feed stops, or both. Another object is to provide means to automatically bring into action the stop mechanism of the particular tool in use, while the stop mechanisms of the tools not in use are disconnected. Another object is to provide improved stop mechanism for both longitudinal and cross-feed..."
