Description: |
Cam lever and toothed plate quick adjustment; the distinctive feature is the asymmetric form of the toothed plate. This construction allows the clamping lever to lie close to the shank when in adjusted position.
An unmarked example of what appears to be a prototype came to light in Worcester; it has the adjustable jaw made of brass and shows evidence of "tweaking" the shape of the cam lever. |
