Description: |
Handle is offset from the blade to allow it to work near walls, ceilings, and obstructions. Additionally it is also claimed when the saw is lying on a table it is easier to pick up due to the handle being elevated. The mounting plate encloses the handle on both sides for added strenth. Hick's later Patent No. 637,257 appears to be a variant of the attachment method. |
