Description:
The patent is for the removable serrated jaw which converts a "monkey wrench" into a pipe wrench. Produced as the MODEL gripping jaw in graduated sizes.

The specifications contrast this jaw's construction with those described in patent nos. 51,961 and 214,697.

The wrench shown in the drawing is Atwater's "TIGER," based on patent nos. 206,851 and 284,162.

The corresponding Canadian patent is no. CA-28,724; corresponding British patent GB-188800927 was registered Jan. 21, 1888.
