Description: |
The chain doubles back on itself, and hooks onto a slide with an inner compression spring. The spring holds the chain snugly around the object to be gripped. The head of the wrench bar is curved, with a groove to hold the chain from sliding laterally. The chain has gripping teeth cut on its inner surface.
Some larger size examples were made with aluminum handles. |
