Description:
Component parts formed of metal stampings, riveted and brazed together. Multiple layers with staggered seams are an important emphasis in this patent. All metal hatchets with no visible markings, matching this design, are known. Burgess-Norton produced and advertised the BUR-NOR all steel hatchet as early as 1910.
