Vintage Machinery entry for W. H. Nicholson & Co.
Description:
A "steam-eliminator" separates water, grease and oil from steam. The steam is directed against a corrugated baffle-plate and those impurities stick to the plate and then drip down through a perforated plate and into a chamber where it can be periodically drained off.

This patent was improved in patent 677,458 and then further improved in patent 796,231. The latter improvement patent was partly assigned to W. H. Nicholson & Co.
