In combination with belt-connected, transposed step-pulleys, a belt carrier for each end of the belt, carrier operating means comprising mechanism for converting rotary into rectilineal motion having a movable and a fixed rack, and means rendering said motion conversion alternately-inoperative with respect to the two carriers. |
